EAFF Congresses are forum for exchanging ideas, proposing new projects, welcoming new EAFF members and voting on crucial decisions concerning European amputee football.
The sixth EAFF Congress was held online on April 2nd and April 3rd.
Delgates from national amputee fottball federations talked about the most important EAFF issues. Among the topics was amputee football European championship in 2024 (Irish Limerick was chosen for a host) and the nearest Junior Camp planned in July 2022 in Georgia.
The fift EAFF Congress, because of COVID-19 pandemy, was held online.
On Fenbruary 27th and 28th, representatives of 19 national associations discussed about current issues and future plans, including AMP EURO KRAKOW 2021. There was also occassion to welcome new partcipants: Albania and Armenia.
The fifth EAFF Congress held in February 2020, was attended by representatives of 16 countries, with the Israel Amputee Association welcomed as the 17th member federation. The draw for the EAFF Amputee Football Champions League 2020 and the official draw for the European Amputee Football Championship Krakow 2020 were integral parts of the event.
The fourth EAFF Congress, held in Poland in March 2019 was attented by representatives of 14 countries and brought many important decisions. Representatives of amputee football associations re-elected unanimously Mateusz Widlak for EAFF President and Simon Baker for General Secretary. IPC Comittee and Technical/Comptetitons Committee were established. Azerbaijan federation was welcomed as sixteenth member of association. Other highlights of the congress were announcing Polish city Cracow a host city of European Amputee Football Championship 2020 and holding the offcial draw for the first Amputee Football Champions League.
The third EAFF Congress, held in Warsaw in April 2018, was attended by representatives from 13 countries. Congress agenda included presentations about the next editions of EAFF Junior Camps, bid process for Amputee Football Euro 2020 as well as preparation status for European Amputee Football Week. Delegates approved also launching a new international competition format dedicated for amputee football clubs – Amputee Football Champions League.
EAFF Congress 2017 was held in Dublin and was attended by delegates from 11 countries. The Executive Commitee reported on projects carried ouu in period 2015-206. Turkey, a host country of the first Amputee Football European Championship presented details concerning venues accommodation place and transport.
Inaugural congress of the European Amputee Football Federation was held On Saturday 28th of February in Dublin. European Amputee Football Federation was founded by eleven countries: England, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine. Representatives of member countries elected the Executive Committee. EAFF was recognised by UEFA and joined as a Partner to its Football Social Responsibility Portfolio.
