Amputee Football Europa League
The tournament will be hosted in Ankara from 23–25 April by Başkent Ampute Futbol Gücü Spor Kulübü, the reigning 2025 Amputee Football Champions League winners.

Teams Ready for the Challenge
Teams across Europe have expressed both pride and determination ahead of this landmark competition.
Football Club Crusaders (Ukraine) approach the tournament with ambition and respect. Head coach Ihor Lytvynenko stated:
“We want to show a good game, to represent the team and Ukraine worthily. We work hard in training, so we want to show our maximum.”
Player Volodymyr Kachan added:
“We treat our opponents with respect. We understand that they are all much more experienced than us. Every game will be a challenge and a quality experience.”
From Italy, Vicenza Calcio Amputati head coach Anna Milano highlighted the importance of the event:
“I am very proud to take part in this important event with my team. It represents a great opportunity for the growth and development of amputee football in Europe. We will do our best to go as far as possible and keep dreaming of the trophy.”
Belgium’s Club Brugge Amputee Team emphasized unity and respect. Goalkeeper Arne said:
“We are especially looking forward to experiencing this tournament together as a team. It is an honour to represent Club Brugge on this stage.”
Coach Randall added:
“This tournament is a wonderful initiative for the continued growth and recognition of amputee football. The result is secondary to the connection it creates between clubs.”
French side Olympique de Marseille also expressed strong ambitions. Coach Karim Bellounis stated:
“Our expectations are to represent our team and our sport in the best possible way. We want to go as far as possible, while playing with intensity and unity to make our supporters proud.”
Team captain Jérôme Rafetto added:
“Our ambition is to be among the best European teams. Our goal is to reach the podium, and why not aim even higher.”
Beyond competition, the Amputee Football Europa League represents a major step forward for the sport. Bringing together clubs from across Europe, the tournament aims to increase visibility, strengthen international connections, and inspire future generations of athletes and clubs to join.
As Coach Karim Bellounis noted:
“This tournament is a very important step for the development of amputee football. It helps create international connections and shows the passion and determination within our sport.”
While Vicenza and Başkent already gained valuable international experience by participating in the 2024 Amputee Football Champions League in Sassuolo (Vicenza) and by organizing and winning Champions League 2025 in Ankara (Başkent), this tournament will mark the debut in a European Amputee Football Federation (EAFF) competition for all the other participating teams.

The Amputee Football Europa League draw ceremony officially took place on 17 February at 15:00 (Ankara time), setting the stage for an exciting European showdown!
The tournament will be held in Ankara from 23–25 April, hosted by the Champions League 2025 winners, Başkent Ampute Futbol Gücü Spor Kulübü.
